  • Day 9

We changed time zone today on our way to Nashville, we want to the grand old osprey

The new one and the old one. Then we turned southwest on our way to Memphis so I can get memorabilia at Graceland for Carol.

We stopped at a Motel 6 at 2325 HWY 46 S. DICKSON, TN 3705, when we came into the state we stopped by the information center and picked up the Traveler that has Discount coupons, it seams that this Motel 6 that advertised in this Discount guide can decide to not honor this coupon for no apparent reason, and for that reason I recommend know one stay here. It is one thing if there is a time or a date restriction but there was not. I think it is only fair that I let Motel 6 Corporate know how this franchise treats the public so I am going give the management here the web address so they can read this.

We are not demanding by nature but we do expect what is fair.

  • Day 8

Well I am sitting in the Hotel in Acworth, GA it is 9:40 PM.

We went to Atlanta GA to fined the GO mini, you need to go to go mini on the internet and see this car, we spent all day getting here and looking for it we did not fine. Called no answer. Going to Nashville tomorrow.

  • Day 7

Today we went back to the parkway; I did not know that this is about 525 miles long.

We stayed on this for about 150 to 200 miles then we went inter state 126,

To the tail of the dragon this is 11.5 miles with over 325 turns in it; they say 1 in 5 on bikes do not make it.

  • Day 6

We are now in North Carolina on our way to Georgia we found a road called Blue ridge parkway that runs along a ridge we must have been on this for about 75 miles, this was like going down Chuckanut only on top of the mountain.

If it were not for the rain it would be nice to push it a bit.

  • Day 5

Today we spent most of the time doing maintenance on the bikes, went for a little ride made it to Virginia.

  • Day 4

This was funny; we were riding around Millstone trying to find Dad’s homestead no luck. When we stop to get something to eat we were talking and someone over heard us

We let him know where we were looking for and he said it was his grandmother’s house.

I asked his name he said Dana Starcher, then I introduced my self, as his cozen.

His Mom and our Dad were brother and sister.

We dad something to eat then went up there.

After spending some time up there it is apparent why Dad settle in Bellingham,

The house was not much but the area is just beautiful we all caught not get over this it was overwhelming at times.

One of the things we decided to do is spared some of Mom’s ashes there at the homestead.

After doing that we had a cigar and a toast to Dad then it was time to head out.

We fount the neatest road these things Conner like there on rails, what fun.

I still do not know what will drag first foot pages or saddlebags.

  • Day 3

We had a good day of riding today; we are getting use to the riding together.

We stop just before Millstone MV to spend the night. Millstone is where Dad was born.

Tomorrow may be more emotional day then we think. It is times like this we all feel the loss of Mom and Dad.

  • Day 1

    Today mostly uneventful.

We spent more time at the dealer doing paper work and things like that. Went for a ride to the park, all-around hot a bad day
