A Texas BBQ

Got to Corpus Christi this afternoon. I met Joe’s aunt Nora, uncle Allan, cousin Berry, and 2nd cousin Max. These were wonderful people, and we had a very relaxing and entertaining visit. It was as though I’ve known these people all my life. They fixed dinner and we just ate and visited. In the morning we are off for San Antonio.

Well today we set out for Corpus Christi, 300 hundred miles later we found it.  We had dinner with my son’s aunt (Nora) uncle (Allan), cousin (Bear), and second cousin (Max).

When they found we were going down there they had a barbeque for us. What a great time this was, we were there for about three hours drinking and eating, these are great people. I miss them so much. I wish we would see each other more than every twenty years or so.

BBQ with Allan and his wife Nora (Ken’s ex sister-in-law). Had a great BBQ and good time with all. Back to the hotel and off to San Antonio in the AM.
